Terms of Service
Last updated 12 July 2026
Draft — pending legal review. This document is a good-faith description of how Contentum works today. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on as legal advice.
The agreement
By creating a Contentum account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your sign-in method secure. One person per account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Your content is yours
You keep every right you have in the content you write. You grant us only the narrow licence needed to store, back up and display that content back to you — nothing more. We do not publish it, train on it, or pass it on.
Acceptable use
Do not use Contentum to store or distribute unlawful material, to infringe someone else’s rights, or to attack or degrade the service for other people. We may suspend accounts that do.
Availability
Contentum is provided as-is and as-available. We aim to keep it up and to keep your data safe — nightly backups, 30-day retention — but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Export your programmes if a copy matters to you: the feature exists for exactly that reason.
Ending it
You may stop using Contentum and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end the agreement if these terms are broken. On termination your content is deleted in line with the privacy policy.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect.
